In brief: highly recommended, very good value for money Francesca and Luigi’s place is a spotlessly clean little house, and actually bigger than the pictures might indicate. Especially nice is the sleeping area on the gallery with the terrace in front, perfect for breakfast and dinner. Francesca and Luigi’s provide a sound collection of travel guides on Italy and brochures about basically every point of interest in the near and not so near vicinity, so that the house is the perfect strategic location for day trips to Noto, Modica, Ragusa and beyond, or the nearby beaches. Don’t forget, though, to explore beautiful Scicli, which is exceptionally charming at night when the entire Centro Storico is flooded in warm light and the Piazzas, restaurants and bars are filled with mostly local people.
